Fund Management

With a proven track record in stock broking and specialised fund management (money market arbitrage, market neutral quant, property funds and sinking funds), Regiments Capital and its fully-owned subsidiary Regiments Fund Managers are registered financial services providers that can, in terms of their licenses, provide advice or act as intermediaries for financial products including pension fund benefits, securities, deposits and instruments such as shares, money market instruments, debentures and securitised debt, warrants, certificates, bonds and derivative instruments.

Regiments Capital’s range of innovative funds includes Debt Redemption Funds, Enhanced Money Market Funds, Property Development Funds and Rehabilitation Liability Funds.

Debt Redemption Fund

The Debt Redemption Fund is designed to assist public sector clients in managing and repaying large debt arrangements on time. Regiments Fund Managers has a three-and-a-half year track record in the Debt Redemption Fund space .This fund has out-performed its benchmarks since inception. Regiments Fund Managers currently manages funds in excess of R7 billion rand.

Enhanced Money Market Fund

The Enhanced Money Market fund is a vehicle that seeks to outperform traditional money market funds, without taking undue risk. Regiments Fund Managers enhances client returns through a sophisticated client-mandated structure, providing returns well in excess of the added risk. A high quality investment portfolio is constructed which does not require a significant adjustment to a client’s risk tolerance to enjoy higher returns.

Property Development Fund

Regiments Fund Managers will soon introduce a Property Development Fund, designed for the achievement of the social development objectives of local authorities, and with broad-based empowerment at its core.

Rehabilitation Fund

The Rehabilitation Fund was created to assist with the timely provision for the financial redemption of rehabilitation liabilities, including the identification, management and hedging of the financial drivers impacting the underlying liability. There is a growing need for this type of financial solution to address environmental concerns to the satisfaction of environmental authorities.

Offering an active platform for the trading of debt and equity securities, Regiments Securities provides reliable stock brokerage services supported by innovative research, experienced executives and reliable administration.

Equities

The equities securities business provides our clients with trading and structured trading solutions. Regiments Securities have a capable team whom have worked in both the international banking and funds management environment, thereby allowing us to provide the appropriate trading solutions. The structuring allows us to provide clients with a solution which assists them in maximising their returns while lowering their exposure risk.

Research

We are developing a credit research capability to service both our public as well as private sector clients. This research will focus in assisting both our public and private sector clients in achieving their funding goals. The team will provide fund management clients with in-depth research on existing fixed income issues, thereby allowing them to make optimal investment decisions.
