Regiments Capital aims to become a major industry role player in the engineering, infrastructure development and healthcare sectors of the South African economy, with primary focus on the enhancement of procurement, manufacturing, distribution and support value chain for both private and public entities.

To this end, the Regiments Capital Proprietary Investment strategy is to collaborate with, partner with and acquire companies who are leaders in their respective sectors in the South African economy.

Portfolio investments

Targeting investment opportunities that can offer significant value-add propositions, Regiments Capital pursues minority participation (less than 20%) in medium to large companies. Suitable investment potential for Regiments Capital would be companies with financial assets and liabilities, or companies that mobilise assets and savings. It particularly looks for investments where Regiments Capital can create or unlock value by deploying its intellectual capital and assist management when such opportunities arise. The strategic relationship should also create other opportunities for Regiments Capital within the investee company or associated group.

Strategic Investments

Regiments Capital invests in companies operating in the Financial Services, Information Communication and Technology (ICT), Mining Resources, Construction and Engineering sectors. Companies that are selected have proven experience and competent management teams, show strong cash flows or show good cash flow potential. They would also be in the growth stage of development and have a clear value proposition for Regiments Capital.

Our proprietary investments involve the active and hands-on participation of Regiments Capital in both strategic and operational matters. These long-term investments are fundamental to our long term vision. They are part of the company's core business and are primarily targeted at well-established companies with revenues and profits of at least R20 Million pre-tax profit.
